I don't know about that.... looks preety authentic.... I mean... look at the guy afterwards..... He's covered in soot and his hair is singed....

old ping pong balls and film strip/negatives are made out of nitro celulose, I don't know if they still are.

Film has not been made of NC for a LONG TIME.  But ping pong balls still are made from it and camphor, hence the smell.

I was pretty sure film is cellulose acetate.

Kodak Safety Film was introduced to prevent the fire danger.  Before this, projection room fires were a MAJOR bitch.
