OK I have a .50 Beowulf and a M16 Bolt Carrier.
A friend owns a M16 registered rifle. Is it possible to take the bolt out of the Beowulf and stick it into the M16 bolt carrier then put that upper on the M16 lower? Will it run AND would it be legal? I just wanna see how a 3 round burst from this would feel. Anyway I ain't trying to break the law just wondering if his lower is registered would it matter what caliber it was on or would it have to be registered in .50? |

OK it'll take me a couple weeks to plan a trip up to our private range. I will definitely post a video for you guys. I was figuring 3 rounds before it crawls up into the sky. I am thinking prone with a bipod. Don't be a pussy, one handed unsupported. Remember you are trying to impress Arfcom which is a difficult thing to do. |

This is the only part you would have to worry about. If the bolt fits the carrier, then let the fun begin. I know nothing about the .50 Beowulf, but I would have assumed the bolt carrier would have been very different than a typical .223 caliber bolt carrier. |

I've seen it done, years ago, by our very own Rsteinb, who was brave enough to shoot the gun from an unsupported standing position. The rate of fire is rediculous and the recoil from each shot significant. The only thing that saved Rob from tipping over and putting rounds over the berm was the limited capacity and the fact that all ten rounds flew out the gun in what seemed like a fraction of a second. That, and Rob tipped the scales at around 400lbs at the time, he's a large man.
Try prone off a bipod first. But yes, in terms of the actual mechanics, it won't tear up the rifle or anything. |

Impress us more, put the stock against your nuts and show us your ability to take FA .50 recoil to your nutz.
You would be a youtube celeb over night. |

I heard that was the easiest way to get sub MOA groups ![]()
