Has anyone here tried it? We tried off and on all day at work and could not get it done with a new glock. The spring is just too stiff on a new glock the guy in the vid must have ran atleast a thousand or more rounds threw his before trying. Be carefull if trying it because we all hurt ourselfs trying it and i acutally threw a brand new glock about 10 feet across the room

But it is still strong enough to cycle the action when he is shooting. We took an after market glock spring and cut it in half and still could only get it to slide lock about 2 out of 10 tries. When you say lock, do you mean lock back? Because I know you don't need to pull the slide all the way back to pick up a round. |

BTW that bay looks familiar! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=771uTOKSeU4&feature=player_profilepage (Disclaimer: Not as good as Rob) I can do the ninja cock trick but not as repeatedly as Rob and not with a full power spring. To do it reliably with any weapon, I believe it takes lots of repetitive training to build the muscles needed for that short back and forth movement. ![]() |

Its in the motion, like throwing a punch, btw my shoulder and bicep is a little sore this morning. |

Holy crap man, dude must have some serious quick twitch muscle fibers...
Pretty cool, but all in all I think it is just as fast to do it manually. I'm only a B shooter here, but pretty quick at that. |

Twice last week, fucking TWICE, I was sitting there with a loaded mag sitting up on end, an empty sidearm beside it and I heard a ruckus downstairs. My cat was laying on my left arm and I try to NEVER disturb the cat so I was like WTF am I going to do?
I did a trick kind of like this Rob guy but after slamming my sidearm down on the mag (I call it cowgirl whereas a normal reload I call missionary or doggie depending on how it happens) I pressed the top of the slide against the side of my body and then pushed the grip forward racking the piece. I was ready to fucking rock when I got downstairs to find it was just some beer bottles settling in the garbage but whatever. I ended up disturbing the cat anyway when I got up. |

Some of you need to learn to re-ad... Says right there that it is a stock recoil assembly. ![]() I didn't even watch the video as I've seen it before. I've seen the same video before but it didn't mention that it was a stock spring. I'm a little skeptical. ETA-I just read this over at the Brian Enos forum. |

So I just tried it w/ all of my pistols.
Ruger P95-I can do it easily with this gun if the hammer is already cocked. I can cycle the entire magazine through using this technique. If the hammer isn't back, though, I can only get the slide to move about a 1/2 inch. This gun has about 15,000 rounds through it. Sig SP2022-Can't get the slide to budge even with the hammer cocked. This gun has about 6,000 rounds through it. XDm 9- I can only get the slide to move back about a 1/2. This gun has about 1,000 rounds through it. |
