My truck was parked in a private parking lot of a restaurant. Someone hit the left rear section and did an estimated $900 damage.
If I file a claim, will this be considered a "collision" or would it be under comprehensive?

I was not in the truck and did not see the perp.

It's not comp. This is what you buy uninsured motorist for.

Uninsured motorist  is for injuries/ medical expenses incurred when you are in a collision with a looser who has no insurance.

I believe Comp is for damage done by people, or thing falling on it, or floods, or some such.  Coillision is for accidents.  I believe this falls under collision.
