The only way that could be funnier... is if those balloons contained the handwritten messages of small children... all of whom were watching the "launch", as it were.

Similar story...

this summer one of my old bosses got married...They passed out envelopes at the wedding for people to open during their vows...The envelopes contained some kind of dormant butterfly that magically came to and was to flutter away as a symbol of their blooming love...

Well...the butterflies were a little sleepy and when they finally woke up they immediately flew into a pond next to the wedding area and were quickly dispatched by several ravenous ducks...Fucking brilliant! I never laughed so hard in my like (later on of course) Could not have happened to a better person
