Dinner in another year.....................

Nothing like having chow on the hoof come aknockin almost at the door.

The dogs were glued to a rear window in the house, gotta go clean off the nose prints now.

There are actually 2 in the pic, the back one is a small button buck.

Oh yeah, we had a bumper crop of them this year. I'll have 50-75 tomatoes easily per plant. For some reason, the soil here is just perfect for them and they grow like weeds. Lots of BLTs in the summer.

I looked at that and wondered if it wasn't two deer. Just didn't match up right. Yes it is something to have potential meals just show up in your backyard.

By next year, she'll be about this size. The pooch weighs about 105-110 lbs.

Look up Jackson County, we have some nice big Whitetails here.

I have seen VA deer and even butchered one and they are like a big dog. Try the midwest  for big deer. 200 lbs field dressed is not uncommon for bucks and some does will dress out at 175 lbs

Corn fed deer rule!!!
