Work to live, don't live to work.

And family above all else. Your coworkers and your bosses don't care about you if it isn't 8-5.

When I die, I want to be remembered for things I did that weren't related to my career.

A guy at work is in his late 40's and ended up in the hospital with a stroke due to work stress.  No, it ain't worth it.

I've never heard anybody on their death bed say, "Man, I wish I'd worked more . . . "

A job's a job.  There are a lot of them out there.  You only get one life and one family.  Easy decision, for me at least.

Don't think or hint of bailing until you have something else lined up.

Stress of a high-pressure job ain't beans compared to stress of going broke.

Try to get your other ducks in a row, and then ease on out.

Continue to perform you job but develope the attitude that you don't give a shit about their threats.

I've seen it many times in larger companies.  In order to increase productivity they piss off or threaten the already productive group because they know no matter what they say to the brain damaged members will not improve.
