This is what I found in a quick search in the GD area from the last 3 months.  There are probably more in the AR section as well.

Okay, way too many to post.  Just head over there and dig around a bit.  There are plenty of threads.

I wouldn't mind owning one, but no way I'd pay $2,000 for a 2-4 moa black rifle unless it was full auto.

In before someone whines about the late Bill Ruger.

Gas piston AR-15's aren't my thing, but that SR-556 looks like a nice little carbine.

Would you pay that for a Sig?       word is they are going for around $1250.

*yawn*

It's a ruger. I have no political issue with their present management, but I just can NOT get myself excited about anything they make (except single-action revolvers...)

huh?  A mid range AR with a decent optic and the accessories that come standard on the Ruger would be darn close to 2k.  And a NFA EBR is going to be at minimum 4x that price.

Not really intersted in spending that kind of cash for an AR, piston or not.  I want something different than an AR or AK.

I wish companies would develop their own weapons with STANAG/NATO mags as their common theme.

Yea, I'd rather have a Sig.  I haven't looked in a while, but last time I checked Sig 556's were more than $1,250.   Sig is better than Ruger in every way that is important to me.    Much more accurate, too.     YRMV.

I should have clearer...the Ruger is going for around 1250...the Sig is over 2000
