They grab everything from .22LR single-action six-shooters to .300 Weatherby Magnum moose guns.

Maybe a happy medium makes more sense?

Also, note the price on the .300 ammo. Almost $28/20 in 1978.

I think I would take all I could too in case of the zombie Apocalypse.

In my opinion though a good .22LR bolt gun would work well for thinning the heard if used from a secure location.
