There have been plenty of times while using UPS, that the tracking info didn't update. I don't know why exactly but every time the package was delivered on time.
I wouldn't believe it until the end of the day. If they are looking at the same thing you are then they don't know anything more than you. There is another separate program used by employees to look up tracking details. I'm not sure if it would be updated if the UPS website wasn't though. Never really looked into it. |

| I think I just ordered plates from the same place you did. Hope UPS doesn't "lose" my order as well. Hope you get your package.. i've had a few times where the info never updated, but it got delivered anyway. By the way, when calling UPS, don't even bother with their shitty system, just say "customer service" twice in a row, and it takes you straight to a person. |

Quoted: It's not so much faith in UPS as it is it's only 1430 on the 18th. They still have a few hours before you should be getting worried. I got worried since they told they have no clue where it is and to file a claim already. They didn't ask me to wait for the end of day. |

Yeah, but we know know they are generally retards and just want to get you off the phone. I'd still not be too worried until it doesn't actually show up today.
On the other hand, maybe the shipper didn't pack it up well and the plates busted out of the box and are laying shattered on the floor of a UPS sorting facility somewhere...

I like UPS better than Fedex because fedex subcontracts out their home delivery service + plus the closest service center is 40+ miles away ( there is a Fed-ex Express right down the street, but the ground sevice cannot leave packages there for me to pick-up), while the UPS service center is less than 10 miles. That and fedex always seems to try and deliver something in the middle of the day while the UPS man will wait until after 5, most of the time , and if he doesn't at least I can run down to the service center and pick it up.
I also think that the average Fed-ex office doesn't like to ship firearms, while UPS hasn't given me a single problem. |

Quoted: UPS has my 10mm ammo and have not updated the page since I first got the link in my email on the 14th. It says "Scheduled Delivery: 16-September-2009" and also "billing information received", but nothing else. Nothing has changed since. ![]() Could just mean the shipper printed the label off, but didn't drop it off. Although, I did have a box of books come in Thursday that only said that when it was delivered. USPS tracking is the worst, though. "We have your shit." "It's on the way." "We tried to deliver and no one was here - come to the post office between 4:30-5:00pm and pick it up." Course, you only ever get that last message when you see the tag on your door after work... |
