Quoted: Tell him: Go 0311 or you might as well join the Air Force and be surrounded by pussy. I dunno. Air winger here, I loved every minute of it. 0311 would be great, but just to wake up every day and know that you are a United States Marine is an awesome feeling. Every meal's a feast, and every formation's a family reunion. |

Once they fill out that PAC card, or Potential Applicant Card they will try to press you even harder by calling you every once in a while. Anyway it's their MOS, and they're very good at what they do, even though it's arguably the hardest branch to recruit for. |

I was 11B ( Army Infantry) and a High School friend went 0311.
When we both got out, we joined the same National Guard unit and had some fun, but came to the same conclusion. If you are going to do it, go all out or go where the good life is greatest. No half stepping. |

STLRAIN what is the 0352 ? i think thats what you said I do not know my number designations sorry http://usmilitary.about.com/od/enlistedjo2/a/0352.htm |
| I was an 0351 (Anti-tank assaultman––-at the time shooting the Dragon, now they have the Javelin). Thankfully, I was smart enough at 17 to realize that I didn't want to be 80 years old and regret not being an infantryman. My ASVAB scores were high enough that I could have done virtually anything in the miltary, but I requested, and obtained, a guaranteed contract for an 03 slot. No regrets. |
