Headlamp assemblies are stupidly expensive.

Know where I can get a headlamp assembly for cheap? Junkyard?

Are we talking about automotive headlamps?

Some idiot drunk pulled out in front of my wife a while back. Minor collision, broke the plastic fasteners that held both the front headlamps and the middle 'turn signal assembly' onto the car on our 2000 Ford Focus. The headlamps on that thing are common on most Focus models (at least up through 2004, IIRC). They're like $200 each and probably roughly as bright as a Surefire G2L, maybe a little brighter, with worse cast/etc.

You might try a junk yard or your local resourceful mechanic. Sometimes those guys know where to get them used, but it's probably not too likely that they'd be available. They're one of those "commonly broken, unable to be repaired, expensive OEM" type parts, for the most part.
