So I had a 1/3 pound slab of bacon, deep fried then glazed with maple syrup served on a stick on Saturday. It was the best $3 I have ever spent.

I was there on Saturday but did not get a chance to sample the bacon, I was already full of cheese curds, pronto pups, waffles, fries, gyros and cream puffs

I will most likely be returning to hit (eat) the items I missed on the first go-round.

The fair in general was good. My wife and I are on an every-other year plan. We went Saturday night for dinner, and spent less money then we had planned for, which is nice.

It seemed like there was A LOT more music this year. There were bands playing everywhere.

$22 tickets for 2
$3 Big Fat Bacon
$3.50 Pront-Pup (not a corn dog)
$3 Huge glass of 1919 Root Beer (best deal at the fair)
$6 Deep Fried Pickle sampler
$5 Cheese Curds
$4 Mini Dounuts
$4 Ice Cream Kone (We normally get one from the Dairy Building, but it clsoed at 9pm.)

This slice of bacon was huge, that pic does not do it justice. It was easily 12 inches long and nearly 1/2 inch thick.

There is always room for bacon. Go back before the fail become too strong.
