http://www.myfoxboston.com/dpp/news/local/kennedy_relative_flips_off_crowd_082809 Kennedy relative flips off crowd Updated: Saturday, 29 Aug 2009, 10:50 AM EDT Published : Friday, 28 Aug 2009, 6:54 PM EDT * Mike Beaudet Mike Beaudet BOSTON (FOX25, myfoxboston) - A woman that appears to be the daughter of Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg gives the middle finger to an unknown crowd member during Thursday's procession. Watch the video and weigh in on Mike's Blog. http://media2.myfoxboston.com//photo/2009/08/28/082809_middle_finger_1_tmb0000_20090828182845_320_240.JPG Weigh in on Mike's Blog: Growing up in Massachusetts, I know first-hand about the Kennedy legacy and appreciate what the family means to this state... in good times and bad. Even so, it has been amazing to see ALL the people who have turned out to pay their respects to Senator Kennedy… lining the streets of Boston for the procession… standing in line for hours to walk past his casket. Given the outpouring, it really was quite a shock to see one of the Kennedys flipping someone the bird during the procession for Senator Kennedy in Boston on Thursday. Our photographer just happened to be focused on the limo carrying the young Kennedy woman right when she made the obscene gesture near Fanueil Hall. The woman in question appears to be 21 year old Rose Schlossberg, the daughter of Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg and Edwin Schlossberg and granddaughter of former president John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Our photographer was not close enough to know what happened to prompt Rose to do this, but it looks like she was responding to someone in the crowd. Who knows what rude comment she might have heard? In the video you can see someone nudge her right after it happens. Funerals are stressful for every family. When you live under the glare of the spotlight like the Kennedys, perhaps this funeral is even more stressful. But what was JFK’s granddaughter thinking? Cameras are always rolling when the Kennedys are around, especially when there’s a procession for Great Uncle Ted and tens of thousands of people turn out. What do you think? Inappropriate gesture on a solemn day or no big deal? A warning: The video you’re about to see may be offensive to some people. |
| that just shows you how much the daughter is a loser as the mother!!! the mom, dropping out of the apptmnt for that senator seat for new york in the middle of the night w/ absolutely NO excuse at all. what a fucking douchebag!!!! ALL THEM KENNEDY'S ARE ALIKE, FUCKING DOUCHEBAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How about that she was in NO WAY qualified for the job and KNEW IT. Hell, even the liberal media was saying that if she was even officially offered the position it would be total bullshit. For once a Kennedy did something good for the country, and that something was "Nothing". |

Looking at the picture she doesn't exactly appear to be grief stricken, as a matter of fact it appears to me that the obscene gesture was intended for the camera that she appears to be looking at.
That is indeed what I consider class, grace and poise in difficult situation and all that. Just think, in a few years she will probably be a Senator. |

Quoted: I hate the Kennedy's as much as any ARFCOMer, but until I know more details, I'm going to let this one slide. Who knows what she was responding to. What if it was some tasteless comment or protester? She was at a family member's funeral after all. Was watching FOX thinking anyone there was in full support of Ted, they were all cheering for him. There could have been some protestors but it sure didn't look that way. |

| I don't like the shennigans that got JFK elected, but then he started doing things FOR us instead of TO us. Problem is, he reneged on the mafia/syndicate deal and Bobby started going after them.He didn't cover his '6' enough and got whacked. JFK apparently issued T bills that would be sold by the Treasury vs the fed. That, amongst other things, all vetoed after the fact by Johnson as soon as he 'took' office. |

Someone should have thrown the little ingrate a spent 6.5 Carcano shell. She how she would have reacted to that.
Yes I know. That was over the top. But fuck the Kennedy's. And Joe's rum boat they road in on. Wasted gesture. (and an expensive piece of brass) She wouldn't have the slightest idea what it was. |

kind of funny the masses worship her dead family member and she gives them the middle finger I hate the Kennedy's in politics, but I'm not bothered by this incident. Who knows what it's like to grow up around those freaks, and the freaks who stalk and bother them. She's probably flicking off some idiot in the crowd who's doing the same to the casket. If so, god bless her for standing up for her family. I think it makes conservatives look asinine when we pounce on chicken shit like this. |

I am sick of these people. They were individuals as crooked as they come. They have and will roll over anyone that gets in the way of their political agenda.
Ted killed a woman and walked away. Fact, He then stayed over 50 years as a politician making decisions for the people of this country. He got what was coming to him it just took awhile. So now let his name die like it should have a long time ago. |

JFK was probably the last good democrat. Certainly more conservative than any recent president other than Reagan. He created the Green Berets, so... I would concur. He is the only Kennedy I wouldnt piss on. He was the last dem that loved America. |
