I finally got a day off where it wasn't raining, so I went to the range today to try out the new parts I bought for my AR last week, plus the usual other toys to shoot at defenseless paper targets and pop cans. The rifles are a Stag Arms 2L, and a VZ-58. The pistols are a Smith and Wesson 686+, STI Spartan, and a CZ-75 SP01. Unfortunately I took the pictures with my cell phone camera, so they aren't the best. I haven't been to the range in awhile so I ended up shooting 100 rounds out of each rifle and 50 out of each pistol, luckily I reload so it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I got a shitload of mosquito bites up there, forgot the bug spray of course. Here are the pics:

Can you own a fully functional tele-stock in Canada or does it have to be pinned in the open position?

My AR-15 has a 6 position stock and 14.5" barrel.

The pmags and c-products are pinned to 5.5 to load on a closed bolt, but those short mags in the vz-58 pic hold 10 for an LAR-15 pistol. We just got that last year I think and could only have 5 rounds previously.

Just out of curiousity, if you have a prohibited license, can you get full capacity mags?

I'm pretty sure that the only things we can have with more than 10 rounds are either .22's, pump actions/bolt actions such as an 870 or Lee Enfield, also the M1 Garand still uses En Bloc clips of 8 rounds, or a belt fed that uses leather cloth and not links. People who own full autos cannot even take them to the range anyway because you need a special permit to do so and the CFO isn't granting them anymore.

So if you own something and you dont have a permit to use it, you cannot?

Welcome to Canada. There are plenty of court cases going on right now filed by legal owners of these weapons, asking why they are being denied something that is and has been legal for years. The CFO likes to overstep his boundaries, and Ontario and Quebec have the worst laws in the whole country. Amazingly enough, the provinces add even more laws on top of a federal matter resulting in uneven rights across the country.

The "fogginess" of the pics is due to my crappy cell phone camera. Also, I have a UTG quad rail under those UTG rail covers.
