Sunfire won't start unless you push in the Fuel Shrader Valve after fuel pump primes.
I don't understand it, once you start it the thing will start all day. The next morning same routine, turn key, push valve, car starts.
Going to have to get a fuel pressure gauge and see whats going on. I'm guessing it has a bad drain back valve in fuel pump, of course it's in the tank. Anybody have a similar problem ? |

That's the thing, it seems like only fuel squirts out.
I got a chance to look at it quick this morning. Switched AC relay with Pump relay "for the hell of it" and now the pump relay buzzes. Switched them back and still buzzes, but car does start. It's just the first time you try to start it "when it sits overnight" ya gotta push the schrader valve first. Has to be the drain back valve. |
