Because he doesn't need two boat anchors hanging on his hips. He can't use a Glock as he has thwacked them against more then a few skulls and plastic just does not cut it for that so 1911s are the only logical choice.

That movie brings back memories.
I remembered when I found a Phantom ring that they sold at 7-11 on the school playground and I had to fight off some kids who tried to steal it from me.
