So I was thinking today about the billions on top of billions of dollars we give to all the other countries around the globe in foreign aid. And then it hit me on how to lower health care costs. If you are an immigrant, legal or illegal, foreign tourist and etc. and you need to be treated at a medical facility here in the US, no problem, just deduct the amount for treatment from the financial aid package going to that persons country of origin and pay the medical bill of said person. This will absolutely lower the cost of health care for all Americans and not cost us 1 cent more. Simple and effective |
