My Dad has comcast cable tv and it is not hooked up right. I looked at it for him and he has no cable coming out of the wall. He has a cable coming from his old antenna but no cable coming from comcast. He has the comcast cable box but I can get it to work. My Dad swears he had the cable working fine when his VCR was hooked up. From wht I understand he HAS to have a cable from comcast feeding the signal into the TV or the back of the cable box, right? He said it was working when his VCR/DVD unit was hooked up but I guess that broke so he un hooked it.
I don't understand how he got to watch cable tv without a cable to hook up to the box or tv???? |

Analog cable could have been pumped into the VCR and then out to the TV. IF he has digital channels available, they would have not made it through the VCR. |
| There has to be a cable coming into the house somewhere from comcast, if it is hooked up to an antenna he is just going to get local stations, there is no way to get cable from an antenna. Check outside to see if you can find where comcast brought it into the house. |
