9/10 Meat, and 2 veg. Dude, when you have 2 slabs of ribs for 2 people, the side dishes just kinda fade into the background. ![]() Hey, you should know that I never give 10's, and I almost never give 9's. I'm reserving my 10/10 vote for that very special dish that takes me by surprise. |

That Caribbean Cowboy sauce is good stuff. The guy that started the company was at my local Price Chopper selling the stuff one day so I sampled and picked up a couple bottles.
PS once upon a time I used KC Rib Doctor rub...but Kyle's Style BBQ rub is much better, IMO, if you can find it. PSS what's the little pan of liquid? Unless you're using a cylindrical style smoker, it won't do you any good. Water pans are designed to more evenly disperse heat, not add any sort of flavor to the food. |

9.99 You put the sauce on too soon. You people from TN do not know shit about Ribs/BBQ/When to sauce. I subscribe to the "dry rub...don't sauce the meat...MAYBE serve it on the side" theory...and I'm from Kansas City where they sauce the shit outta all the BBQ. Good meat doesn't need a sauce on it...it's just as much of a sin as putting A1 on a steak. |

I hate to take a point away for something so easily fixed as beer, but I have to. Yeah, I know there's some good reason, but it needs to be in there for the photograph. Otherwise it's like a Special Olympics pic without little "Billy."
9/10. The dinner looks awesome, though. |
