In my house the wife, son and I all cook bacon differently. I'm an oven guy, the wife grew up with iron skillet method and my son is a nuke it now sort.
WHat method do you prefer to cook your bacon?

Oven.
Use a cookie sheet and a rack so that you can save the grease for making home fries and refried beans.

Commercial kitchens, at least those I worked in, do it in the oven. Consistent results, flat, no raw spots, little splatter. With that being said, I put it the pan.

Is there any other way than on the stove/skillet. Bacon was meant to fry it its own fat.

Otherwise, cook bacon on the smoker.

Cast-iron skillet. How the hell do you cook fried eggs in bacon grease if you microwave it?
Granted, I have to use the oven because I literally cannot cook bacon in a skillet. That's one skill I didn't inherit from the parents.
