That looks like a full-length guide rod, so I don't think so.

ETA: Are you planning on replacing the entire guide rod assembly?

I was thinking about it but I'm really lost when it comes to the guide rod thing. One piece, 2 piece, full length etc

no.. you have a cone lock up in the barrel you need the flanged version of the spring retainer.. the one you have posted you need a barrel bushing to hold it in.

Well, the TRP Operator I bought had a full length guide rod and I hated it.

I looked everywhere for parts to convert it, I didn't like needing a tool to remove the slide.

Dawson makes tool-less guide rods, but he doesn't make one for the TRP.

I ended up selling the TRP and I'm looking at other models that have GI guide rods.

Where can I find a flanged version?

It's the price you pay for bull barrels.

Aren't you the one that was going to get a Dawson and try turning down the plug (since the only apparent difference was in the reverse plug sizes)?

Plus, even with bull barrel, you can switch to a quasi-GI setup by using a GI rod but still using a reverse plug (which is necessitated by the bull barrel).

No. You have a bushingless bull barrel. You are stuck with the full length guide rod/reverse plug arrangement.

There is always a guide rod. Whether it is full-length or not is the question.

Leave it as is. Buy a spare if you wish to spend money.
