I've noticed a lot of guys who carry on arfcom don't carry during work. Is this because of job rules? Uncomfortable? Printing while working?

What reasons do you have for not keeping your weapon on you? Just curious.

Big sign at the gate, "Firearms Prohibited."

We have armed security, I'm not going to lose my job by bringing a weapon to work.

It's against company policy. I would probably have a difficult time explaining why I got terminated on future job interviews as well.

Interesting. I don't think my job has a policy on it. And I'm not about to ask so that they can close the loop hole.

I open carry into work then stick it in my desk drawer, when I leave it goes back on my hip....

Company policy mandates NO FIREARMS within my vehicle while performing my duties for the company.....
Unfortunatly I have not figured how to drive from outside the car.

I work in a school.

Working on getting the Board/Superintendent to allow Carry Permit holders to carry. I've "anonymously" dropped some of the recent news articles from Texas, and others, about schools doing this.

Hell, I'd be willing to coordinate additional training for any staffers wanting to carry at work. Our school District isn't exactly in the nicest neighborhood and we've had quite a bit of gang activity here at the school.
