I've seen two this week. We don't average one a month.

The denied folks all want to know why.

NICS tells us one of three responses:

Proceed
Delay
Deny

They do not tell us why.

I have never had a denied. I love when they are delayed so i can pawn all that bullshit paperwork off on another employee at a later date.

Never had a denial either. Delays, yes. All but one delay were eventually updated to proceed. We're still waiting on that one... it's only been two months...

none this year so far that I can recall

we have less than a 1/2 dozen denials a year but 90% of our customers have a Ne hangun permit which bypasses NICS
