Yes, the title says it all. I was fishing today and we hooked a few Makos, Tigers, and Sand Sharks around North Jersey/ New York City way off shore. We got them to the side of the boat and I wondered, what would be a good round to use to dispatch a shark. So what would you choose to take out a shark? Mind you, you're up close and along side a boat with a pissed off shark thrashing in the water.
I'm not advocating the death of sharks, shooting near water, close proximity to people and property. |

Additonally, it is now pretty widely agreed that it was probably NOT a great white, much more likely to have been a bull shark that far up the creek. |
