Dammit, You know I did this retail shit most of my life... But the gun industry, well some of these folks beat all I've ever seen.
I finally ordered a set of Micarta double diamonds for one of my Springfields from Cylinder and Slide. They had a great deal going and they were on closeout for 23.00  This is where the good ends... I ordered them last Tuesday and paid with a CC which put the total up to 34.00..
I finally get them today and open the box, look at the reciept and package.. Yup government model.. Open the pack and SONOFABITCH these cocksuckers are for a fucking officers model  Hey shit happens So I give a call to C&S the lady tells me "well just send them back I will inspect them and get you the correct ones if we have them... Now I am being cool and nice about this bullshit.. She says they will cover the shipping on the ones they send out as replacements "Gee thanks.. I will get them in what 2 FUCKING WEEKS" everyone knows shit will be slow because of the 4th.. I just called my old man... He is getting a new set for his FUCKING stainless officers model He now has 3 1911's with Micarta grips to my well NONE and when I beg the wife the next time to get something I want she is gonna bring this upfor the next 20 fucking years The worst fucking thing about it is the time and the fact they did not even offer to e-mail me return shipping label..

| Actually your not too bad. You've accepted that it can happen and your giving them time to make it right. The customers I hated were the ones who thought that I should overnight the replacement to them for no charge and wait for them to send back the "bad one". Then there were the ass holes who thought they should be compensated for their time to hand the package to a mail man or UPS driver. |
