Apperently some are great, some not so great. I bought mine new for around $300 and have carried everywhere. I love the belt clip for it.
But I had a buddy who bought one used, and the trigger wouldn't reset half the time. He took it to the smith who said he fixed it, but it still had the same problem.
I bought it from him for $100, and later resold it for $200 to a buddy who thought he could fix it himself, and ended up REALLY jacking it up.
$250 seems reasonable for a good one.

About $200.

Just sold mine that I carried for ten years to finance a S&W 642 with a set of CT laser grips.

Could have just sent it in to the factory.  They have a lifetime warranty.
