Ok so i have been out of work for a couple of days due to a respitory (sp?) infection. It is not getting better and now my face feels as if I have been beaten with a bat, I can't sleep because of the pain, and I can not eat. This is the worse pain that I have ever been subjected to.
PLease help.

Sounds like a sinus infection. Yellow snots is a give away...mucas dischages should be clear, if not, see your Dr. for some anti-biotics. You'll be feeling better in a week. Left go long enough, they can be fatal, or cause blindness. (although it would have to be left go pretty long...wait, how long did you say you've had symptoms?)
Not a Dr, but I've had a lots of sinus infections over the years. |

| Ok...I am back from the ER. I have been burned, stabbed, broken bones, have had more stiches than I can count, but this is the most pain that I have ever been in...that being said the reason that I went to an ER is the closest urgent care is all the way on the other side of town (Omaha), I am in an extreme amount of pain, have not slept for two days because of it, and I couldn't eat. The doctor gave me some Tylenol w/Codine for the pain, and Azithromycin to help break some of this crud up. Pain Meds are just starting to kick in, and I am feeling a little sleepy. |
