I just bought a Dell Insperon NetBook (So far I like it) But it has no optical drive. I know there is a way to transfer the files from a CD so I load programs via USB port. What is the process?
Thanks. |

If this is something you will do often, you may want something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/External-Slim-CD-ROM-Drive-Black/dp/B000YQSKPM personally, I'd just buy a large capacity flash drive and transfer the cd to flash drive on another computer, then transfer the flash drive to your netbook. |

I was wanting to do a transfer as described, but just copy, pasting the files is not working, I cant open the files transfered to the flash drive. If I recall, there is a set of steps to make a working transfer. |
