| So im making a stereo in a ice chest to float down the river. So being in a cooler there is no ground. Whats gonna happen when I dont ground it? Theres plenty cooler radios but was just wondering what to expect? |

The radio reception may suffer a little bit - most car radio antennas work better when there's a metal car body ("ground") to work against - but other than that, shouldn't be any problems. Car stereos draw a lot of current. What are you going to use as a 12 volt power source - and how much room for beer will you have after you've installed it all inside an ice chest? |
