I took my English Mastiff to the vet today, and while we there the office girls started telling us about the one that had been brought in to be fixed. Turns out he is 18 m/o purebred that was surrendered to the humane society. They called the humane society for us and we filled out an application. Tommorow we take our 3 y/o female to meet him again. If they get along well he's ours for a small adoption fee.

Our female is a full brindle and this guy is fawn. He reminded me of Marmaduke, tall, big head, and skinny (he'll fillout over the next year or so).

Find me a purebred Collie while you're at it.

I'll even come pick him up!

Congratulations on the new addition!

UPDATE: He is working out fine, he and the other Mastiff are playing all day long. They are always wet from each others slobber. He's got to learn some house rules, but that's about it. Well except for barking at the cat in the middle of the night.
