so in sum lost points for: Bushmaster Kosher salt on potato skin Lack of extra magazines 1911 not in condition 1 Preparation pictures Disguise the medium rareness Flashlight specs Better Pictures Green Vegetables Notable grill marks Well, I don't count off for Bushy's. I like the salted potato skins (The sodium freaks will bust your balls, but that doesn't stop them from eating bacon, does it?) Yes reloads are a must. What if a zombie tried to make off with your steak??? What if 10 zombies tried to get your steak? Preparation pix aren't required, but some like to see how a meal comes together. If your overall composition is fantastic, the prep pix aren't needed. You may be asked for a recipe though, so be able to post that most rikki-tik. Medium rare is good. Some folks like their steaks CBR here (charred beyond recognition). Blood on the plate frightens and confuses them. If you cook it too much, you'll lose points for ruining it. If you don't cook it enough you'll hear fromt he well-done brigade. Make it how *you* like it. Flashlight specs? I never put a light in my pix. Usually food, beverage (adult), tactical cutlery, firearms, and ammo. Those are the basics. Too much extraneous stuff and they'll tag you for being cluttered. Be able to give specs on every item whether it be food, knife, ammo, or firearm. If you have a flashlight there, you'd better provide specs. Better pictures? Yes please. Bigger is better. Brighter is better. Better angle is better. Make it kind of artsy. Some folks toss a plate on the coffee table and sit on the floor. That's fine, but usually they get called out for their pix. Make the meal look interesting. Remember, your goal is to make the viewer hungry for what you're eating and jealous of your firearms.... Green veggies. Not a must but something in addition to meat and spuds is usually appreciated. Notable grill marks. Well, that steak looks kind of gray, causing me to question whether or not it was grilled at all. If a steak is grilled, it should look like it. I had a friend that made the most god awful looking steaks...they looked absolutely industrial. I asked him to show me how he was cooking them, then I saw the problem. He was putting tinfoil across his grill Not a grill mark on them and always gray like a battleship. I showed him the error of his ways.
BTW, you did grill that steak, right? How did you avoid grill marks? Anyway, it's a decent first effort. There's a lot of fantastic dinner pix on this forum...hell there are several outstanding ones tonight. Keep up the good effort. |
