I pay for 8mb a second internet speeds.
While using a program like Jdownloader, I top out at about 750kb a second while downloading from rapidshare. Internet speed tests say I have 8mb a second, but I cant seem to use it. Why is this? |

No, it's much, much closer to 1 megabyte per second. A byte is eight bits. |

It's not surprising that the cable guy didn't. I worked for verizon DSL. All our guys knew it( trunk capability) but they would'nt say anything to the customer.. |
