I had a lot of that stuff in the late '60's when I was a wee lad.

All the later stuff is crap.

I have a few (hundred) of the 12" Joes laying around here...

But like anything else, the Adventure Team changes with age...

Pisses me off that I gave all mine away as a young man.  I had a bunch of the GI Joes as a kid - original and kung-fu grip - as well as a nice collection of weapons and uniforms.  I even had a ton of the cool foreign uniforms and weapons (I lived in Europe as a kid ... father in the Army) that the British made, called Action Man (their version of GI Joe.

What really sucks now is that everything I played with as a kid is now that same crap I see when my wife and I go into antique shops!
