I am conufesed here How can this be attempted homicide? I thought an unborn child was not a living being. You cannot murder something that is not living. This is not different than abortion is it
By the way, I agree with the charges. This was a living human. Hang the jerk Attempted Homicide of Unborn Child Reported by: Ben Manning Tuesday, May 19, 2009 @10:55pm EST WILLIAMSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY The Blair County D.A.’s office files Attempted Homicide charges against three people, including two juveniles. It was all part of a plot to end the pregnancy of a teenage girl Police say a Williamsburg High School student put a dangerous chemical in his pregnant girlfriend's drink. He thought it would kill the child she was carrying, but it didn't work. It actually happened inside Williamsburg high school on March 31st, 2008. Police say they're just now filing charges because they had to send the poisoned Gatorade to the Chemical Unit of the FBI. Police say the high school boy Prostamate in the girl’s drink. Prostamate is a prescription drug that farmer's can use to abort cow fetuses. The District Attorney's office filed charges against Jonathan Imler Sr. and two juveniles. The D.A. charged all three people with Criminal Attempted Homicide of an Unborn Child, Aggravated Assault, and Theft. But only Imler is being tried as an adult. Police say Iimler helped the juveniles steal the Prostamate and was involved and planning the whole crime. Police say nothing like this has ever happened in our area. People in the community are glad charges are finally being filed. Councilwoman Becky Mingle says it's a sad situation for everyone. And she's glad the plan didn't work and the girl and her child are still doing fine. The two juveniles will have a hearing in the coming months. The new Williamsburg Superintendent plans to talk with the school's attorney before making any comment. http://wearecentralpa.com/content/fulltext/?cid=90011 |

Probably specifically defined as a life for purposes of that section of the penal code. Whether people are pro/con abortion no reasonable person would think that intentionally causing an unwanted abortion should be legal. By your logic all AR15s manufactured after 1994 with collapsible stocks should be illegal because in NY they are "assault weapons" and prohibited by law, so you better run down to the police station and turn in your rifles if you wish to blindly think that any legal definition should be read as being universally accurate in all situations . |

Quoted:
It is "choice," remember? The boyfriend acted against the GF's decision. The GF has the sole decision-making capability to end the life of her fetus. It's one thing to have an argument with a prospective mother over whether or not to keep the baby. It is another thing ENTIRELY to poison said girlfriend with cow abortion powder.
