Cool...

If they made a .45 ACP one, it would be a great base for a De Lisle Carbine...

seriously, I'd love to have one in 308 that was of modern manufacture.

they refer to a US export model: http://www.australianinternationalarms.com.au/product.htm

However, no US distributor is listed. The Rifles are hand fitted new production, so my guess is that they will not be cheap. Their Australian distributor lists the base price at about $1320 Australian dollars which is just over $1000 dollars. Add on shipping, tariffs, taxes, disti profit, FFL profit, and mandatory CTD gouging, and they'll probably cost $1800 US when they get here.

Every few months, these pop up in a thread. Last time, somebody had a link to the US Vendor who had a few at the beginning, but then there were some issues with the rifles, can't remember what the end result was. I specifically remember they were talking about the 7.62X39 and .45 ACP verions. Cool idea, but price was a little high, quality was questionable, and Vietnamese sourced parts were possibly an import issue, and rumor was that caused the whole thing to fall through, or terminate import? Either way, they were pretty cool looking rifles. .

Slight side note.

I can't find any blue prints for a M1917 Enfield.

IIRC the last two posters who wrote range reports had feeding problems with the 7.62x39 rifles.  Wouldn't chamber anything off of one side of the mag.

Saw one at a local gun store.  Didn't catch the price, but the guy said I was pretty much the only person that came in so far that understood what it was.
