Alright here's the situation, tomorrow morning when I wake up I will have 1000.00 deposited into my account that will be used to buy firearms and related item's.  Here is the problem I don't know what I want to buy, I was thinking about buying a SWR Trident 9 but I'm getting tired of having to wait on the NFA stuff, I want immediate gratification.  I have two AR's both Rock River one in .223 that is completely built with everything  I want on it, and a good supply of mags and ammo.  The other rifle is a RRA 9mm dedicated mag well that is completely stock.  For this rifle I have a few thousand rounds but only on mag so I will need to get a few more for it.  I am set on pistols as I have a few 9mm, 40, 45's and a 357mag.  Throw some ideas at me on what you would buy tomorrow if someone gave you a thousand dollars.

AK. I have roughly the same budget as you, and that's what I'm shopping for.

If you are thinking AK, try to find one in 5.45x39, the ammo is the more available right now, and you could get the rifle and a couple thousand rounds and still be able to pick up another mag or two for your 9mm.

If you don't mind not having a lot of ammo right off the bat, then look into a Saiga .308 or a Cetme. Both can be had for well under 1k and you can get a few hundred rounds of ammo as well. It's always nice to have a rifle that you can actually feel when you shoot.
