I seriously doubt many college degrees are issued anymore without massive amounts of internet help.

Got mine in 1987, the old school way.

Test is over, she failed that question.

I really think she screwed up the part to get the decimal I posted, but just trying to help her, Statistics class, I took 3 semesters in college, remember 0% of it now.

It is just arithmetic.

Write it as a fraction of a power of 10, find prime factors for numerator and denominator, cancel as many as you can.

Well it is a fraction. Could use 18.629565218/22 as well

Was it asking for whole numbers in the num/dom?

Yeah.

Wife screwed up something.

This is screwed up too, she gets to take the test (and homework) 3 times to get a better grade.

This is a local community college, is a college degree really worth anything anymore?

The last 2 numbers are 9 and 0

No single number goes into those two numbers evenly.

That number over 1 is the answer.

ETA  the above fraction has been rounded.

That was my assumption. Can't come up with a rational divisor for those, and according to Occam, the answer is the easiest.
