recently my computer froze, (just had downloaded the lasted edition of itunes and was adding songs to my shuffle)
tried to reboot and would just turn on but not boot anything.
A new hardrive did the same thing, nothing.

Any Ideas?

I might be going out on a limb here, but did the new hard drive have an operating system installed?

You have to ask these things.

Does it boot far enough to go into bios?

Are there any beep or LED codes?

Check power supply voltage and power good line.

Check processor fan.

Remove and reseat memory.

Need to know if it will boot into BIOS.

If you don't have a Windows/recovery disk, download/burn a Ubuntu bootable CD, try that.

Can you put in a bootable disk and see if that works? Your copy of Windows (if you use that) should be bootable. Can you go into your bios? If so does it recognize the hard drive?
