I went last weekend and shot 9 nice size carp, 2 of them were silver carp, shot a few gar too. It sure is a lot of fun pulling those big fish in. I just wade out in flooded fields with my bow and shoot them when they get within 15-20 feet away. |

Maybe this year I'll ditch my gig, and take my bow. |

No, but I do olympic recurve. Just got some carbon shafts in with some points, nocks and spinwings. Assembled 5 and left one bareshaft... surprised the fuck out of me when I shot a group at 18 meters and then the bareshaft hit right in the middle of the group! No plunger tweaking... they were in tune right out of the box!
