Scene opens with an old man sitting at a desk, his back to the camera. A shotgun is propped against the wall nearby.

"Ernest Hemingway relaxing at his home in Ketcham Idaho."

That show was / is one of the few things that would make me literally LOL.

Hands: The Hands of Fate.

Truly an epic title.

Takin' care of things while the master be away, dawg.

And I have to agree with the OP.  That movie was so bad that even with the MST3K treatment, it was still painful to watch.  But man, there were some great jokes in there.

My other favorites:

Space Mutiny:

Rip Steakface!  Butch Deadlift!  Crud Bonemeal!  Big McLargehuge!  Smash Lampjaw!  Bob Johnson!  No wait....

"Kalgan, blow me away!"

Prince of Space:

"Once again, just to reiterate my earlier point, your weapons cannot harm me!"
"Did he say crank whore?"

And who could forget Monster A Go-Go?

"There!  That scene was filled with horror and terror!  This announcer now feels vindicated!"

(A small and rather pathetic space capsule is recovered in a field)
Announcer:  "This was definitely the capsule that had sent our astronaut into space."
Robot:  (snicker)  "Yeah, he was three feet tall, pear-shaped, and stood the whole way."

(Military guys drive up in a badly-running car.)
"Hey, General!  Why don't you Midas-ize it?!"

Hobgoblins made me want to put a drill to my temple.

“Take us to chuckie cheese!”

Big fan of Space Mutiny

“But what of the children and their toys?”

And of course This Island Earth rocked

You can get (almost) all the episodes from sellers online, even the old KTMAs.

I think my favorites are the ones "starring" Joe Don Baker.. Mitchell and Final Justice.. but then there's Sinbad and the Magic Voyage.. and Hercules.. really too many to list.

I think Manos was voted the best bad movie by MST fans.. I share your pain..
5/4/2009 5:39:00 AM EDT
[#24]
Mitchell is definitely one of the best, along with Side Hackers.

Aaaaaaahhh...Manos...

The scene where He wakes-up all His wives:

"WHAT was I THINKING?!?!?"

Some of the best times of My Life as My young Son & I spent Quality Time on Saturday Mornings with MST3K..

The Ol' Crew Chief

That show was awesome. My wife and I still quote from MST3K.

Anyone we see being a drag on others we call "Load" thanks to the Mole People episode, one of the best ever...

I miss MST3K..... I saw it at best buy the other day and almost bought it.  I think I will go back soon.

My favorite bit was a piece of abominable editing in the original movie.  Diner scene, one of the characters appears out of thin air in a splice of two takes.  "I'm back!"

Watch out for snakes!

Oh no, they destroyed the Hitler building!

The whole lot of them is available on torrent.  Seven seasons, as I recall, plus movie.

(I believe that they are out of copyright at this point.  Don't fuss at me.)

You can also find some of them on DVD.

licensing, even for b-movies, is a bitch. they couldn't go on securing licenses for crappy movies indefinately.

RiffTracks is a clever way around that.....

Great show. We were just talking about it the other day. Used to be on Saturday nights here. It was one of the few shows the wife and I would actually look forward to.

I don't remember the movie it was from but a couple of lines were ...

Take me to Uranus.

Uranus is big and gassy.

There were a couple more like that but I can't remember them.

Another one was The Legend of Boggy Creek, I think. One of the funniest lines was ...

Oh look, the tomb of the unknown cracker.

We really miss that show.

in refrence to the movie, it's amazing, really. For the time like 1996, it was not considered a great blockbuster release, thus not a lot of copies were put into circulation i guess... i think they released an aniversary ed in 2006, but after a few months, pulled it from distribution. The only copies of the movie avaliable are on VHS and if you can find it, it's like 6-800 dollars.
