My sound stops working after a few min. on line. Been happening for some time now. I just checked the task manager and out of 44 processes the only one that shows any significant cpu usage is "system idle process". It jumps around from 99% to 94. some of the others jump into the rest. Cpu usage is jumping from 27% to 50. I hit the end process button and it wont do it. Can anyone help me. If I restart the puter the sound will come back.

what kind of sound? playing a flash game/youtube, mp3 files, or general windows system sounds? if its sound from flash-based stuff, make sure youve got the latest version of that too, after you update your drivers. It's all the sound. I will look for an update on the driver. Thanks for the help. |
