How do I know if the receiver on my FAL is an IMBEL? Obviously, I've looked for markings that would identify it as such, but I don't see anything on it that says IMBEL...

Since it doesn't say it, I would think it isn't an Imbel reciever. Mine has it planely written on the side of the reciever.

Mine says it on the rt. side of the reciever. It's stamped into the metal, but the importer markings look like they were inscribed by a drunken sailor using a dremel.
