I used to work with a guy who's wife worked at another business in the small local town. She was having an affair with a coworker.

Seems everybody knew about it except him.....HELL...I had heard it, and I don't pay much attention to gossip and such horseshit.

Anyhow, several years ago, the shit hit the fan! Husband, coworker figured the deal out. They have 3 kids, they worked the deal out, wife claiming it was "strictly Platonic".. yeh right!! I'm sure husband didn't quite buy into that, but the 'non-affair' was supposidly over.

Back then, the coworker had asked me about it, and I admitted to having heard of it, and informed him that as near as I knew, it was pretty much common knowledge in the community...especially the gossipers. My excuse for not informing him of my suspicians being; number one, not my business; number two, was gossip and not sure if true or not He advised that he would have liked to known about it.

Ok, a number of years have passed, I still pretty much ignore bullshit gossip, and have heard but little of the now ex-coworker's wife's affair. The deal supposidly done and over, life rocking on as usual. However today I ate lunch with the male part of the supposidly long over with affair and his brother. Listening to them talk, it became obvious that the affair was still running hot straight and normal! Husband was out of town at a stock show with the kids, and the adulterers had used it as an opportunity to hook it up!

Poor fellow, I don't think my ex-coworker has a clue! He's sort of a buddy, but not all that close a pal. I figure if I bother to tell him, it will either be old news to him, or will destroy the family! Maybe get somebody killed!

So do I tell, or keep my pie-hole shut?

Thanx, Seventeen.

You could be subtle:

'You know your wife's a slut?'

'Been checked for STDs recently?'

'How do you feel about sloppy seconds?'

Fuck it!! Burn the Bitch. How would you like to have the rolls reversed. With you being the one that everyone was laughing at behind your back because your wife was running around. I'd want to know if it was me. Burn the Bitch, she deserves it!! This is the second time for sure.

Ask yourself this..."would I want him to tell me if it were me, in that situation?" That's your answer.

Last time around he told ya it would've been nice to know, you kept quiet then because you weren't SURE...Well, now you ARE sure, why not tell the guy exactly what you heard, word for word, and let him draw his own conclusions?

I never do anything I won't admit to, and hold people to the same standard.  There is a difference between being sensitive to another's feelings and being a douche.

You could always try the time tested method.
Get everyone in a line and say "Everyone who doesnt have a cheating wife step back. Wait a minute Bob"

Ditto...

Unless you are skipping some details, if they casually talk about it in front you as if it is common knowledge, and they don't give a crap, rat the fuckers out.

If you do the above, make sure it is anonymously.

In all fairness, your ex co-worker is a fucking retard for staying with that lying whore of a wife.

Tell him. He asked you to. Wouldn't you want to know if your wife was a filthy cheating fucking whore?

I would let him know.

My ex-wife cheated on me. Everyone knew but me. Our best friends, another couple we did everything with knew. They never said a word or even tried dropping any hints.

After I found out on my own then people decided to tell me about all the other guys this slut had sex with while we were married.

I wish I would have known. I wish someone would have told me. I don't appreciate the fact I lived a lie for years. I don't appreciate the fact my life or health was put at risk by having sex with my wife after she had unprotected sex with God knows how many other pieces of shit.

Fuck that bitch and your POS co-worker.

I actually agree with damn near every opinion posted so far.

The above quoted advice also crossed my mind, as a way to break this news to the poor fucker. I kicked the anonymous thing around this afternoon, and while it has it's perks in this shitty deal, I sort of decided it was also sort of 'chicken shit'. .......not knocking the idea at all  ......I can do 'chicken shit'! After all, it is a shitty deal anyhow.

This, or something like this is something I feel likely.

Makes the 'anonymous' option attractive. Also makes the MYOB option my seemingly best option.
