I'm considering buying a S&W M&P MP15T. I love all the rails!

What did you pay?

How do you like it?

I like the looks of them.  Saw them maybe 3 months ago for around $1400 at the local Gander Mountain.  I had looked at that one and a Stag 2HT and bought the Stag back in 2007 for $1100 because it was less expensive - but was between those two.

I think it is about 1400-1500 here in VA.  At the overpriced gun shop...

I have had one for a year.

Love it.

Accurate, tight, great gun.  My friend who is a colt fanatic couldn't put it down when he tried it.

I paid about $1150 but of course that was pre-Obama.

Paid $1200 about 3 months ago.........and couldn't be happier with it! Shoots anything I put in it as fast as I can pull the trigger.

I paid $700 for the upper (pre-Obama) and slaped it on a DPMS lower with am Mcormic trigger and thoroughly enjoy it.  Just picked up a M&P lower to swap in, but i'm in no hurry..

Bought my S&W M&P15T at Cabelas for $1500 about a month ago.   Put on a EoTech 511, blackhawk single point sling, hogue grip, a forend grip with drop down bi-pod, and a bunch of Magpul 30rd mags.   I love it!

About $1500 here also but you could have something similar for alot less by just slappin on some troy rails. I like the S&W logo though

Got mine for $960 close to a year ago.
Like it quite a bit.
Just wish it had a 1/7 barrel.

I paid $1200 in Nov. It's a pleasure to shoot.  Gonna really try it out at Outbreak Omega  in a couple weeks.

I found only two here in SE PA since Obama.
Two different stores both asking $1600. One store dropped price to $1500 if I am serious - which I am.
Did not know if that was a good price, but it seems inline with the current market.

$1500 isn't terrible in the current state of things. Some here will tell you it's too much, and you could probably search and find a better deal somewhere. However if you're local shop has it in stock and you like it, I'd go for it. I got mine for $1450 a couple of months ago and love it. Gotta consider the cost of the equpment that it comes standard with. Troy free-float rail and folding iron sights are a few hundred bucks if purchased seperately. It was nice the nice rail and stuff right off the shelf. Browse this sight for info, take the advise you get here into consideration and them make the decision yourself. Personally, I think you'll love the MP15T.

I bought it for $1500. I've only seen two in my area (SE PA). Yes, I may have paid a little too much...But now it is MINE!

The Troy rails and battle sights would have cost $550 + S&H form the cheapest sources I could find. So I don't think it was a bad deal.
So far, I like it better than my S&W "HBAR" build.

Thanks for the input.
