Not really disgusting but I snapped a few pictures of several of mine about a month ago. EDIT: Right click view image will make them a little bigger.

Those look like arboreal tarantulas from India or Asia, correct?

If so, I have heard they are highly aggressive.

Found this gal in my garage in 2004.  I stunned her and threw her in the bucket.  Half of her babies are still on her, the other half are running loose.  They ALL suffered death by starting fluid shortly after the photoshoot!

BTW - all Camel Spider photos, while cool as shit, are FAIL.  They are not spiders.

They get in my garage every year and scare the hell out of me.  I was also bitten by a spider in my garage once too.  I don't bother them outside, but they bother me inside, so they will die if seen inside.

ETA:  I don't kill everything that gets in my garage either.  I've had garter snakes and cool insects get in there too, and I just pick them up and take them outside to let them go.

These originated from india but you can buy them domestically.  They aren't overly aggressive.  They are more skittish then anything, but they won't hesitate to attack if they are cornered.  Also, they are incredibly fast.

here's a nice little fella:

He can only jump 3 feet in the air, has toxic venom and lives for 25 YEARS!!!
How do you kill it with fire when it could just outlive the fire?

More P. regalis

I have a shirt with a P. regalis on it.  I can't find any pictures of it in a full threat posture but it really looks terrific.

Great spider photography by an arachnologist.  He has discovered many of them.
