Some dumbass actually bid on it. I have always said if you dig a piece of lint out of your pocket and put it on ebay, someone will bid on it.

No, go look at the auction again. It started off at $.99 and at last count 53 dumbasses had bid it up to $429! How can people be that f*cking stupid? Those stupid cans will be worth jack shit next year. In 10 years most people won't even remember Survivor and that string of cans will end up getting sold at a garage sale for $.50[;D]

Looks like it's dumbasseS now. 53 bids and the price is now $430!! [shock] Our society is truly a decadent one if somebody is willing to throw away over $400 for some rusty cans on a string.

I believe that the Glasser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is a Non-Profit org. Therefore whoever buys this junk is really just making a large cash donation to a worthy cause. I don't find a problem with it.

E-Bay aint all bad. I just won an auction for a ITT Night Quest Gen II Monicle. Some dildo kind of ran up the price trying to outbid my proxy bid in the last hour late at nite by about $100. Still, a like new with a IR illuminator that sells for about $1800 total for $825 aint too shabby me thinks.

Are you referring to the "immunity idol"? If so it's still available for a mere $22,100! Go see it here: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1501000720

QUOTED FROM THE GALSSER PEDIATRIC AIDS WEBSITE In working toward our mission, the Foundation is committed to maintaining a low administrative overhead, which is historically less than 6% -- a percentage that earned us an A+ rating with the American Institute of Philanthropy. This means that the vast majority of every dollar raised goes directly into our research, education and outreach programs. The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Now if you have a few bucks left over from your latest AR project, or if you are a wealthy philanthropist, you might donate some cash to this organization. Some folks don't like to donate cash so they are happy to buy "Junk", knowing that the proceeds all go to a worthy cause/ I still don't have a problem with it. And NO Stormbringer, I'm not gonna toss any money your way, at least not until you lose the "666" [}:(] after your ID.
