Man, I must be unlucky. I've had two cards hit inside the last 45 days. Never had it happen before.
I'm beginning to wonder if some of the ammo vendors have leaks in their payment systems. |
|
Same here. 2 card numbers compromised, both in under 60 days.
First time in 13 years this has happened to me. Not one single buying habit has changed EXCEPT buying AR parts online. ETA: and thanks to my bank, I didn't loose one cent. In fact the second time, the people who got my number weren't able to complete one transaction. |
|
Only places I can think of that I don't usually shop at are:
W P A 3 ammo suppliers on here. That's the only new places I have been other than starbucks etc but being going there for years. Retards tried to shop for $7000 in building supplies. Last month it was a carpet cleaning company. |
|
I haven't bought any ammo online, but I've bought a lot of parts from supporting vendors with banners up above here ^ Can't pinpoint anything, but that is the only thing I changed in my normal buying habbits.
The first time it happened, the people paid money for a university exam. Seriously. Somewhere on the east coast. I'm on the West coast. Then the second time, I noticed an iTunes charge pending on my acct. I would NEVER pay to download music |

It is only a matter of time before everyone gets hit. I got hit three times so far. Apparently you just need to pick numbers out of thin air and start shopping. This is what the Secret Service agent told me when my debit card was hacked.
If you have a good bank, they will shut the card down quickly. Compass bank is not a good bank, they suck donkey dicks. |

in the middle of disputing some charges sucks. atleast chase is ok sir and refunds it immediatly. In fact, Chase was so good, they called me and told me a new card was on the way and to cut up my old one............before I ever knew it was hacked. Nothing hit my statement. |
