So I usually sleep about 2-3 hours a night. Been like that for years. I have a hard time falling to sleep for some reason. I will just lay there for hours. I have tried OCD sleep aids, but they don't help me much. They do make me really fairly tired, but for the most part don't help me fall asleep faster. Also, I work out 4-5 times per week and eat healthy just so I don't get "go exercise" responses. Anyhoo, had a checkup last week and asked for something for my sleeping problem. Well I just took my first ambien tonight and all I have to say is wow. This shit is trippy. I will sleep good tonight. I may pass out at my desk but it would be worth it. |

I was going to tell him how well it works but he's probably already passed out. |

It only works for a while. It worked for me 3 times, but after than it had no effect. If you take it every night this is definitely the case. It will lose effectiveness. Taking it once or twice a week worked great though. In the meantime you need to figure out what is actually causing your insomnia and try to get that worked out while you still have the Ambien crutch working at full strength. |
