The left-right line with totally controlled economy, on the hard left and ultimate free market on the right.
The top-bottom line with more social control at the top and less at the bottom.
Link Basically I don't thing the government should have any control over the economy or social issues. |

i am almost the same as above just more towards authoritarian |

Wow! It's the first time I've ever seen the "everyone is a libertard" test! You didn't even post a link. The paulbots used to spam us incessantly with this silly thing. The test is quite accurate compared to a single-line spectrum. The political landscape simply isn't "Left - Right." You can thank the late 18th century French National Assembly for the origin of the terms, but they are simply used out of convenience today, particularly in regards to a polarized party system. I hope we can all agree, however, that we are much more politically diverse in opinion that sitting in just two different camps. The paulbots DO have a decent argument that the vast majority of us have a libertarian swing in some capacity. Even if a self-described "Liberal" is anti-gun (which goes in the face of "liberalism," but I digress), they still most likely have libertarian swings in regards to free speech or gays or what have you. - BG |

The compass has little or nothing to do with political party affiliation, unless you tried to map out where a party is on it based on current platform. The compass is merely a way to compare an individual to another. None of this changes the fact that most people are surprised that they end up more on the libertarian side of things. That is in relation to the ideology, not the party. - BG |
wow...different results then i thought...i think its casue some of the questions did not make sence to me and i juist guessed+
